GET TO KNOW ME

I'm Shona Taylorson and I have been a dog groomer for the past 4 years.

I started studying a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare (BSc) in 2019 and graduated in July 2022. I have always wanted to work with animals, particularly dogs, so this degree gave me the opportunity to explore which area I wanted to work in. I had a chance to undertake my work experience in a dog groomers and I knew this was the career path I wanted to take. Alongside my degree, I trained for the IPet Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, a recognised and regulated qualification. 

Once I qualified as a Professional Dog Groomer, I had the amazing opportunity to work part time as a dog groomer in Newcastle Emlyn whilst I finished my degree. Since Graduating I have been working full time as a dog groomer in Newcastle Emlyn and Haverfordwest and I have decided this was the right time for me to venture into my own business. 

I have owned dogs all my life and currently have my 2 gorgeous Dachshunds, Miniature Schnauzer and a rescued Miniature Poodle, who I'm sure you'll meet upon your arrival. 

Dachshing to the Groomers is  fully insured, canine first aid trained and a 1-1 dog grooming business that will provide a relaxing environment for your dog. All dogs welfare needs will come first and they will be pampered with the utmost care.
