By attending an appointment you are agreeing to the terms & conditions below:

M a t t i n g

At Dachshing to the Groomers, we put the welfare of your pet first following the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Matted coats can cause further problems to the skin as well as exposing pre-existing problems such as irritation, infection and hot spots. Matting also helps with hiding fleas, ticks and other parasites.  As a result of matting, we may have to shave your pet short, in order to remove the matting and make your pet more comfortable.

Dachshing to the Groomers accepts no responsibility for any vet fees if health issues that may be exposed when clipping off a matted coat. 

Customers will be required to sign a matting form if their dogs coat is severely matted. There will be an extra charge of £10+ for matting due to the extra time and extra equipment used.

D e p o s i t s 

A non-refundable deposit of £10 per dog will be required upon every booking for your dogs grooming appointment. This will be deducted from the cost of your groom. If you cancel less than 48 hours and rebook, you will need to pay the full cancellation fee and pay a non-refundable deposit of £10 to secure your next appointment. If you cancel 48 hours or more, you can roll over your £10 deposit to your next grooming appointment.

You have 24 hours to send the deposit, after this time your appointment will be given to the next customer. You can do this by popping into the salon to pay via cash/card or via a secure payment link that I can send you.

C a n c e l l a t i o n s

We require at least 48 hours notice for appointment cancellations to allow for enough time to offer the appointment to another dog needing our services. A cancellation of less than 48 hours will incur a 100% fee of the usual groom price. Missed appointments/no shows will incur a fee of a full groom also, which will need to be paid in full before further appointments can be booked. 

If you arrive late (15 minutes or more), you may be asked to reschedule and the full cancellation fee will apply.

 

If you consistently miss appointments, refusal of paying the cancellation fee or late arrivals on multiple occasions, we may refuse to book in any future appointments.

P a r a s i t e s 

If your dog attends the salon with fleas, Dachshing to the Groomers reserves the right to decline the groom of your dog. If you are aware your dog has fleas, please treat them 48 hours before bringing them into the salon for the welfare of your dog and other dogs who attend the salon. 

If your dog is found to have fleas during their groom, the groom will go ahead using flea shampoo. However, there will be an extra charge of £10+ for the time and cost of disinfecting the salon.

Vet Health and Care

The aim of Dachshing to the Groomers is to provide the best service possible. However, in the rare case of an accident, the customer agrees for Dachshing to the Groomers to transport their dog to the nearest vet for treatment if required. 

The customer also agrees to pay any/all fees that are not covered by our insurance (Such as pre existing conditions etc). 

P a y m e n t

Card or cash payment is required upon drop off or collection of your dog. We do not accept payment via cheque or bank transfer. Payment cannot be made at a later date.

P h o t o s

Dachshing to the Groomers may use photos of your dog on our website or social media platforms as we enjoy to show off your dog as well as our skills. 

If you do not wish for your dog to be photographed and shared via social media, please notify us at drop off.
